The gifts of the Spirit that Paul deals with in first Corinthians 12 through 14, were never meant to be toys that Christians play with or badges of spiritual superiority. They were meant to be tools and a means by which God could minister His grace, mercy, love and kindness to needy individuals all around us… both in the body of Christ and those who do not know Jesus as well. They are also very powerful weapons in the spiritual war that we, as believers, find ourselves in!
